UPS/Fedex/Amazon/USPS Delivery Instructions Sign

UPS/Fedex/Amazon/USPS Delivery Instructions Sign

Description

This is a sign that instructs FedEx/Amazon/UPS/USPS delivery drivers (with their respective corporate logos to aid in recognition that "yes, this means you") to please leave packages inside on the front porch (rather than out on the front step), and informs that video recording is in progress. I designed this sign because certain delivery drivers keep leaving packages on my front step, for all the world to see, which not only leaves my packages exposed to the elements, but invites that lowest form of life, THE PORCH PIRATE For whatever reason, some drivers just won't take a half a second to open the screen door and put packages inside on the porch where they are out of sight of the porch pirates, and protected from the elements. This honestly seems like it should be standard operating procedure for any delivery driver, and corporate policy of the respective shipping carriers, but alas, it is not. I figure by specifically instructing them where to leave the package, there's a better chance they'll do it. If a porch pirate decides to come onto the porch, they're going to be in clear view of my video doorbell. Recommend print the first 2mm in a bright solid color (I used red) and the rest in white.... This results in a red sign with white lettering. Choose whatever color suits your fancy. You may have to adjust your layer heights slightly depending on your slicer. You'll need to program the pause and filament change when you slice. The “Pause at Height” feature can be found in Cura under the “Extensions” tab → “Post-Processing” → “Modify G-Code”. There you click “Add a script” and then select “Pause at Height”. -Set all print settings and slice the object -Open the “Extensions” tab at the top of the Cura toolbar. -Select “Post-Processing” from the dropdown menu -Click on “Modify G-Code” -Click on “Add a script” in the window that opened -Select “Pause at Height” from the list of all available scripts
