Xytronic 426DLX Fume Extractor Extension Tube
Description
This is an add-on for the Xytronic 426DLX solder fume extractor, although it may work with other 5 1/8 inch fume extractors. The goal of this design is to allow the air intake to be repositioned easily, e.g. for use with helping hands, larger PCBs, etc. It is simply attached with rubber bands; depending on the length of your rubber bands, you may need tie two or more bands together to get the right length. All parts can be printed with little to no support material required. The friction-fit connections are designed with loose tolerances, so you will need to tape the joints to achieve a tight fit. **Parts needed:** - 1x Funnel - 3x Elbow - 1x Nozzle - 1x Tube (can be made out of paper to save plastic) Total: about 30 hours/250 g PLA (depends on print settings) **See below for part-specific printing instructions.**
