ELRS 2.4Ghz Front Antenna Mount for XILO Phreakstyle Frame
Description
This is a simple 2.4Ghz, ELRS, antenna front mount for the XILO Phreakstyle frame that comes with Joshua's 5 inch beginner drone kit. It uses 2 zipties to keep it in place and I find it keeps it very secure while adding some extra front impact protection, if the zipties are placed in the same position as in the provided pictures. I specifically have the namimno antenna for ExpressLRS, so slightly different antennas might not exactly fit. Although this was designed for the XILO Phreakstyle frame, it should work with any frame that has the front standoff screws about 24.5 mm apart. The step files are provided in case you need to do some quick adjustments. If you don't want to bend the antenna too much to try to get it to fit inside, or if your TPU isn't flexible enough, you can just use some wire cutters to cut one of the holes open, so you can just slide the antenna in. That will not compromise the integrity of the print since the zip ties are what hold everything together. Because the camera plates make it hard to attach a mount to the stand-offs, I decided to use the stand-off screws, despite not really liking to screw into TPU. If someone wants to remix a solution for this I'd love to see it! In my experience the TPU is thick enough that you can still screw it in pretty tight without any problems. It has been holding very well to crashes.
