siemens circuit breaker interlock
Description
new style siemens load center main breaker interlock for a ups or backup generator anti backfeed application. interlock will force both the main and top left breaker to be in the off position before being able to move interlock, but only allowing 1 of the 2 to be on ever. you should use the top left breaker and will need to drill 2 holes in the door assembly to install some small nuts and bolts. Drill holes carefully, as they could limit the range of motion of the interlock. If placed correctly, you can paint the bolt head on the right side to use as an indicator of what position the interlock is in if desired. Edit 1- added photo with it sitting in place. I have not drilled holes in the cover panel yet. this is my 3rd revision tweaking things to get them just right. i used a 3mm pin in the top hole to the main breaker hole that is already present
