Laser cut ant nest / formicarium (perfect for new ant keepers)
Description
This 7.5 by 6 cm ant farm/formicarium is perfect for a new, or existing hobbyist. Made for both small and larger species of ants, especially made for new queens. Features: >A removable cover, perfect for viewing your ants >3 sizes of entrance/portals in 1 cm, 1.3 cm or 1.5 cm sizes >A large 1.5 by 0.9 cm entrance for both big and small ants (may vary depending on your choice of vinyl tubing/portal used) >Assembly by hand, without any tools required >A large chamber, well suited for a new colony >A large 0.2 cm hole for a syringe to water the nest (please cut a sponge to appropriate size for this nest) BE AWARE this formicarium will need a few screws and bolts in order to build, please see the section below for specifications. BE AWARE TOO, that the files are NOT ready to cut as is, and you will need to set them up for your laser cutter! Note: the pictures shown are from a previous version, as such it is missing the entrance portal. The removable sponge cover has been removed in this version, as it was too prone to getting lost when removing the transparent red layer.
