Description
This is a dice storage box with 7 compartments, designed to hold table-top game dice (Dungeons and Dragons, etc.) or other dice, as desired. There are 14 different lid designs (one blank lid with no logo, one D&D logo and 12 D&D Class symbols). The photos show one of the various D&D logo lids. There is a screenshot diagram of a blank lid. The blank lid could be modified with any desired logo. The box and lid attach to each other with magnets and a lip. There are 12 total receiving holes in the box bottom and the underside of the lid, which are designed to accept standard 5mm wide x 3mm tall magnets -- see photos for details. These are commonly available on your favorite amazing online store; I purchased 300 for about $13. The magnets fit snuggly, but a small drop of CA/super glue will help secure them permanently. Print & Orientation: Turn on ironing when slicing for a smoother lid top. Print lid face up with supports for better quality lid finish, especially if you are printing a lid with a logo. For a faster print of the blank lid, you could print it face down, with no supports; the lid surface would then be the texture of the print bed. Bottom of box prints in the normal orientation with no supports needed. Magnet Orientation: Make sure you orient the magnets in the box and lid so that they attract to each other. The magnets and lip combine to do a good job of holding on the lid.
