Dartboard Light ring with switch and 12V socket
Description
Building a dartboard light with 3D printing I started darts in the beginning of year 2020 because of being much home and being bored due to COVID19 restrictions. The first months I played on the dartboard hanging in the entrance area of my home with bad lighting. After a while I thought: "why don´t I get a light for the board and searched in internet for such an illumination. I found some, but the price around 85€ scared the hedgehog in my pocket (I´m not sure if this idiom works in English). Then I remembered my too less used 3D Printer (Anycubic I3), why not use it to build a light by myself. As I´m engineer, I have a well 3D design program (Autodesk Inventor Pro 2019) and so I started to design that light. If you want to build that light, you need to buy some components as described in the bill of material. Furthermore, you should be able to solder a little, and need to have a 3D printer and know how to work with it. The parts I designed are divided in smaller parts to be able to print them with a small printer like Anycubic I3Mega, I hope that part size is good for your printers. The result will be a well working light for a standard dartboard, with cost around 12 to 20€. in the Zip_folder you´ll find all files you need to build this light by yourself as Inventor_pack_and_go of the assembly, Stepfiles, OBJ files, Bill_of_material, wiring diagram, describing word file.
