Ghostbusters - Leg Hose Gizmo Box
Description
Ever wondered where the Leg Hose is going to? Or what purpose it has? There are some rumors and even a statement by Dan Aykroyd, but wouldn't it be nice to have some actual "Gizmo" for it, than just tuck it under your belt? Having seen some designs of "gizmo boxes" I came up with my own design and thoughts about it. Its designed to be a small 9x7cm Box to hang onto your belt with a V-Hook. Thanks to Quentin Machiels (https://www.thingiverse.com/mr_kiou/designs) for his V-Hook and Sage-25 design, as I used the base model to go with my design. Quentin has done some awesome work with his V3 pack. You would need to buy a switch to fit into the hole one the left side, I bough one from a local electronics store (https://asset.conrad.com/media10/add/160267/c1/-/en/001587664DS01/datenblatt-1587664-tru-components-tc-r13-2-05-kippschalter-250-vac-15-a-1-x-ausein-rastend-1-st.pdf) So you might also add some lights etc to the box. As it should work as a small "Parapsychic containment unit" it is detachable from your leg hose with a magnetic connector. Print all parts once, just the Cylinder twice and you need some 4mm OD Hose to run from the Cylinders to the Brass Elbow and the resistor. Maybe some leftovers from Pack and Wand building. 4 x M4x8 screws for the lid 2 x M3x12 with nuts for the curcuit board 2 tiny screws for the resistor 2 screws with flat head for the Belt Clip clue all other parts in place Holes in the "Hose Adapter" and "Hose Connector" fill fit 2 x 8x3mm Neodym magnets. Strong enough to keep the Leg Hose in place "Hose connector" has 2 variants. "14mm" for a european 14mm OD hose "half inch" for US standard 1/2inch hose Still a "work in progress" as I see minor flaws after printing etc. Feel free to share your thoughts !
