225mm Freestyle Quad **Revised 10_19_20

Description

***Edit 10/19/20 1. Added revised Camera Mount for the Runcam Hybrid, this one will allow for 30° of tilt up and 15° down as needed. Redesign also incorporates a mount for a Frsky SXR receiver with 3mm protector sleeves for the antennas. (if you use this, you will not need part: Receiver Mount) 2. Designed a modified GPS mount. This removes the need for the GPS Box mounts and Stalk mounts and replaces the VTX antenna mount. 3. Added a mount for Matek 3901-L0X Lidar module. Both with LED's and Without. If you use the one with LED's, you will not need the big LED mount on top. 4. If you use the Lidar, you need to raise the quad at least 20mm off the ground, I designed legs as well. These are only 16mm spacing for mounting under the motors/arms. Here is the latest finished build I have made. I cannot stand having things zip tied and not in a stowed away place. So, I printed some accessories for this rig to make it neat and tidy and modular. Clean power for the VTX and Camera with a 3A BEC, stowed under the VTX. You need a variety of 3mm hardware, some 2mm for the camera. Lok-Tite, Solder, Flux Pen, Good Soldering irons, 3M tape, all the normal stuff. I also used the water proof coating on all boards. Cool with a black light. Anyway, this is a good starting point for someone that wants to branch out into an open source rig, for not a lot of money. Using Inav. Working on Way Point flying as well. This uses the economical frame from FPVDrone It is a 225mm frame (5"). I did replace the brass screws with Black Steel screws for the frame assembly. I did not like the gold polka-dot. Of course they were installed sealed and with lok-tite. All 3D Parts can be printed with TPU or PetG to suit your needs. I have a mix. She weighs in with battery at 552g. Flight time is ~16m. It is very fast, but not a racer. The RunCam Hybrid is a fantastic set up and I want 3 more.
