8bitdo SN30 Pro+ Trigger Plate
Description
I've had my SN30 Pro+ for a while, but the trigger plates for L2 and R2 seem almost sacrificial - they break. A LOT. So the impetus for this design was that I needed replacements, and I also wanted something a little more robust. When I was measuring, I realized that while 8bitdo's stock trigger plates are specific to right and left, the mounting point was identical on both sides. So to save time and complexity I made interchangeable parts - a single design can fit on R2 and L2 mounting points. There is one file with a flat face, and one file with a finger rest at the bottom. Just choose one - you don't need both. The designs fit just fine - you should be able to print it, strip off the supports, and snap it right onto your controller. That said, this was designed in Tinkercad. It's not very pretty, and you might want to sand your plates down post-print if your fingertips don't like hard edges during extended gameplay. I plan to revisit this design to resolve some of these issues once I have access to more capable software.
