Print in place caged differential

Print in place caged differential

Description

I found this to be a really cool model but after printing a couple times and every time I tried to break free the gears the vertical parts of the cage would crack apart on the top , so I went back and beefed up the vertical portions of the cage. I have printed it out about half dozen times since the fix and no more broken weak cages.. THIS MODEL REQUIRES IT BE PRINTED OUT AT .2 LAYER HEIGHT due to break away supports for the gear train that may not print if you slice at a different height.. No supports are required but the print quality is much better with a trio of supports place 120* apart under 3 of the corners like the purple differential in the picture.. I used manual supports and used a 4 mm diameter support .. as the original designer said to break the gear train free use a couple popsicle sticks in the outdrive slots and twist in opposite directions
