Orbiter 1.5 Adapter for Ender 3 / 3 Pro
Description
Wanted an adapter for the Orbiter 1.5 but didn’t find one that didn’t depend on a specific fan shroud, so I made one based on an old direct drive adapter that used the stock ender hardware and mounted to the metal backplate (although I don’t really remember who made it). I made this adapter to print without supports in PETG but depending on your motor it might be cool enough to be printed in PLA too. Pretty sure the model comes backwards so but if you flip it there should be no need for supports. The right side has a quarter circle with cable ties spaces to add strain relief if you don’t have a fan shroud that has some already. There’s also a version with no strain relief. I included the Solidworks file and a STEP version.
