Corkcicle lid slider
Description
Slider for lid on Corkcicle 24oz thermal mug. Print standing up on the end with the chamfers with supports from the print bed. (It should load in your slicer in the proper orientation) This puts the layer lines across the retaining clips and makes them stronger. Any layer height should work just fine, but I go with a lower layer height (0.1-0.15mm) as it doesn't slow the print down too much and I sand the part afterwards to reduce the surface texture. This keeps it from retaining too much in the way of coffee stains and layer lines are also where bacteria can hide. Smoothing it out prevents this and smaller layers makes that smoothing easier. Tried the source thing by cmauzy when the original lid slider broke, but the spacing was different between that model and our Corkcicle lid. Redesigned it maintaining the original geometry but that would warp over time. Took out the top geometry to keep the main body flat and just added a ridge. This has reduced the warping that we've seen on this part. If your lid has different dimensions, let me know the spacing and I can upload adjusted models.
