Da Vinci Y-Axis Carriages
Description
The Original motor side carriage didn't have room for optical sensor mount and I found it slightly dimensionally off when printed. So I made a few edits and few prints and found these to match up and hold linear bearings. FYI: Removing optical sensor from original carriage is tricky because it is glued on. Also I setup Motor side to use brass knurls for belt clip instead of hex nuts. Something really important after the 2 carriages are printed and you put the rods back in them you want to make sure they are truly parallel by checking both sides with a caliper. Then you are going to want to use a custom carriage that has the exact same spacing so it slides smoothly...
