Snapmaker 2.0 Laserboard Clip

Snapmaker 2.0 Laserboard Clip

Description

Hi Folks, I´m new in the Thingiversum and this is my first upload, so I`m very glad to give something back to this great community! I´ve added some features to the already remixed Laserbed Clip by Darthwolff. The overhang on all four sides increases from 0 to 3mm per side and has a 3x1 champfer to clamp the material to the board in y-direction properly. So you will find always the correct spacing according to the given fin pattern. To increase the clamping force a M3 thread can be cutted into the first 3-4mm of the clip and the inserted bolt will press the center pin against the fins of the laserbed. (If you cut deeper, you will brake off the center pin, at least with PLA.) I uploaded 3 Versions to adress different hights of raw material. Stronger material can not be cut by the laser and therefore the CNC-Board with its holding down clamps can be used. Z3 --> 0 - 3 mm Z6 --> 3 - 6 mm Z9 --> 6 - 9 mm Depending of the calibration of your machine this clip will sit more or less strong between the fins. On my machine the x- and y-axis are slightly different, so depending of the orientation of the clip while printing, it fits even stronger or just perfect. Knowing this, I recommend to print the clip in both orientations or use a little bit of sand paper to make the clips fit to your laser board.
