Modified Spool holder with bearing for CR-10S PRO - Three Lengths
Description
I noticed multiple issues with the finished original print, and this is to remove most of them: - First and foremost I added more lengths of the whole rig to support spools up to 115mm in width. This Remix is designed for the following Max spool width: 75mm Spools 95mm Spools 115mm Spools - Secondly, I added a flattened edge at the beginning of the main part, as well as adding a flat edge along the entire shaft, so it can print Horizontally, for added rigidity. - Next, the Original Spool cylinder was too small in diameter for the bearings to 'actually' have a purpose (cylinder was 21.8mm diameter, a 608 bearing is 22mm in diameter) - The Spool would lay on the bearings instead, and since the bearings were the ones stuck to the base, Nothing moved at all. To fix this: This remix has been widened by 1.2mm (making it 23mm in diameter) to be slightly wider than a standard 608 ballbearing, making the spool lay on the Cylinder instead, and then in turn actually use the ballbearing properly. - The nooks where the bearings are attached were slightly too long, causing friction in the original mount. I shortened them by 2mm (shortening them from 8mm -> 6mm), still adequate to attach the bearings, but now there is no more friction against the mount. - The Original print had the nook only printed on one side, then you had to insert a smaller cylinder to complete this, I'm assuming the intent was to easier print the cylinder. Due to too many issues with pushing in the smaller cylinder, causing either nook to break, I remodelled it so it had the nook on both sides instead, just *Make Sure you print with supports*. - Removed the logo of the Cylinder to make it print faster and with fewer issues. Note: I still left the first modification, if people feel more comfortable in printing this, simply Wider and with no logo. i.e with a nook on one side, and the hole on the other for the smaller cylinder.
