power file or belt sander for an angle grinder adjustabe improved version
Description
New Version of a power file or belt sander for an angle grinder (Bosch 14-125 CIE angle grinder with speed control). I do not recommend using it at full speed! This version allows to adjust the belt position and is more compact than my old one. To adjust the belt, you need to slightly rotate the shaft in the clamp. You require 2 bearings (22x7x8) a spring (about 12mm inner diameter, 16mm outer diameter x 65mm length) a thin sheet of metal to glue on the arm (I used 15x2x50mm Aluminium) a little bit of glue and filler. two M4 screws and nuts It was made for 13x457mm sanding belts. I printed the arm and 8mm rod with a resin printer and I am not sure how well the arm and the shaft would fit if you use a filament printer. Might need some sanding to fit and you mit run into stability issues. Do not use PLA since the area close to the small wheel can get hot and melt the arm! All the other parts can be made from PLA if you want. For the assembly you need to glue the clamp to the main housing. I recomend to place it off center so the lower side of the belt is parallel to the arm. Use a ruler to figure out the best position. Also glue the metal plate to the arm. How to make the small wheel from the two bearings is described here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3232648
