K40 Co2 Laser Front Panel
Description
I recently purchased a K40 Co2 Laser Cutter/Engraver. It came with a bbq/kitchen temperature probe and no visible flow-indicator, so I purchased (from ebay) the following: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/392806108561 I needed somewhere useful to install the digital temperature read-out panel securely on the control panel; so I drew this up in illustrator - it fits all of the standard components along with the temperature read-out panel. I also decided to label the 'power dial' in stages of 0 for off, A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K. This will make it much easier for me to quickly print out a reference sheet with the milliamp reading for each of the settings, especially for different shades of raster engraving on wood and acrylic etc. If you have any comments please let me know. I included both the SVG file AND the .AI Illustrator file, incase you'd like to edit the font/text etcetera - if you modify it, please post your remix so I can check it out, I'm excited to see where it goes. Please Note: i) The photo of my K40 doesn't show the current final version of this project; it was a revision prior to this, and includes more letters than needed, and the title text is too high, which was all resolved in this final version. Also note: If you're cutting this on your K40, I cut this on my k40 out of 3mm MDF. I raster engraved at 300ms/5ma 1 pass, vector engraved at 200ms/5a 1 pass, and vector cut at 10ms/10ma 1 pass. *** Your settings may differ, you'll either know your machine or test scrap material prior to building the project. Enjoy and be safe.
