Klemmbaustein Space Shuttle Discovery - a simple Wallmount

This is a very sturdy wall mount for the LEGO Space Shuttle Discovery - a mighty complex object to put together there - if you don't have a big display case then you wonder where to leave it? I wanted a wall mount that was small and inconspicuous, but at the same time stable enough to hold the heavy object securely. Of course, the shuttle should be easily removable at any time... Many requirements that could only be solved with metal. I got an ALU bracket from the DIY store (Alu Profi Konsole) for 5,20€. This angle is 200mm on the long side and 125mm on the other. The 200mm remain as a support at the top, I shortened the lower corner to 90mm, that's all it needs. Furthermore, the angle reinforcement in the middle was flattened a bit - that was also way too oversized. The angle is still VERY stable. First you print out the "Shuttle Wallmount" standing up, of course with supports, this takes a good 4 hours. The front part should be black so that it looks a bit like the shuttle - so I printed the front piece in black with 1.5 hours of printing time and a lot of supports and then removed the supports. If you print cleanly, the imitated terminal block fits perfectly into the bottom of the shuttle - alternatively you have to file it down a bit. First the angle was fixed to the wall, then the white base frame was pushed on, the black support on top and fixed with a small screw from below so that the whole thing doesn't accidentally slip out. Now you can simply put the shuttle on and it holds without any problems - we use the notches from the table holder here, it holds the whole thing bombproof. The whole thing is mounted at a slight angle of 10 and 13 degrees to the front and to the left, but you can change that as you like. When you want to remove the model, you simply lift it up - it couldn't be easier. - - - - - - - - - - - Dieses ist eine sehr Stabile Wandhalterung für das LEGO Space Shuttle Discovery - ein mächtig komplexes Objekt welches man dort zusammen baut - wenn man dann keine große Vitrine hat fragt man sich wo man es lassen soll ? Ich wollte eine Wandhalterung haben die recht klein und unscheinbar ist, aber gleichzeitig auch stabil genug ist das schwere Objekt sicher zu halten. Natürlich soll das Shuttle jederzeit einfach entnehmbar sein... Viele Anforderungen die nur durch Metall gelöst werden konnten. Ich habe mir aus dem Baumarkt (Bauhaus) einen ALU Winkel geholt (Alu Profi Konsole) für 5,20€. Dieser Winkel ist auf der langen Seite 200mm auf der anderen 125mm. Die 200mm bleiben als Halterung oben vorhanden, die untere ecke habe ich auf 90mm eingekürzt, mehr braucht es nicht. Weiterhin wurde die Winkelverstärkung in der Mitte etwas abgeflacht - auch das war viel zu überdimensioniert. Der Winkel ist trotzdem immer noch SEHR Stabil. Zuerst druckt man den "Shuttle Wallmount" stehend aus, natürlich mit Supports, das dauert gute 4 Stunden. Das vordere Teil sollte Schwarz sein damit es sich dem Shuttle optisch etwas annähert - also habe ich das Frontstück in Schwarz mit 1,5 Stunden Druckzeit und viel Supports noch gedruckt und dann in scheiss Kleinarbeit die Supports entfernt. Wenn man sauber druckt passt der nachgeahmte Klemmbaustein perfekt unten ins Shuttle - alternativ muss man etwas nachfeilen. Zuerst wurde der Winkel an der Wand befestigt, dann das Weiße Grundgerüst aufgeschoben, die schwarze Halterung drauf und mit einer kleinen Schraube von unten fixiert damit das ganze nicht Ausversehen rausrutscht. Jetzt kann man das Shuttle einfach aufsetzen und es hält problemlos - wir nutzen hier die Auskerbungen von der Tischhalter, der hält das ganze bombenfest. Das ganze ist im Winkel von 10 und 13 Grad leicht schräg nach vorn und nach Links angebracht, das kann man aber abändern wie man möchte. Wenn man das Modell entnehmen möchte hebt man es einfach an - einfacher geht es nicht.
