YETI Ender 3 V2 Big Fan Part Cooling Duct
Description
It was inspired by the "HevACS" cooling system design by MirageC on YouTube. There are a lot of advantages of a big fan over a smaller one. It can be quiter while producing more airflow. HevACS type of ducting works quite well when the hot-end is not moving in the Z-direction, which is not the case for Ender 3 and most other Cartesian printers. So I need to attached the outlet or the whole fan/duct assembly to the X-extrusion. After a few iterations, here is the first working version of my big fan part cooling system. Im not good at naming things, so I will call it "Yeti" for now. Fan specs: 140x140x25 mm 24V P.S. you can snip the tabs off to fit thicker fans but that might deform the duct a little bit due to the weight of the fan, shouldn't be an issue tho.
