# Mini Desk Drawer #### **__Creation Process__** --------------------- - If you're interested in seeing the creation process or some cool timelapses, check out our video: https://youtu.be/mE7KSwPcOpM - Programs Used: Blender, Illustrator. #### Print Settings --------------------- - Layer Height: 0.2mm (Cura Preset) - Walls: 2-3 - Filament in photo: - Wood PLA Filament https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09G8HR699?ie=UTF8&linkCode=sl1&tag=indisposabl0c-20&linkId=2b6b818202660d3d81b7bc98d846ca55&language=en_US&ref_=as_li_ss_tl - Black PLA+ Filament https://www.microcenter.com/product/611532/inland-175mm-black-pla-3d-printer-filament-1kg-spool-(22-lbs) #### Assembly --------------------- - There are 4 pieces, 8 files (two sets of 4, two versions). Please note that the 4 "wider" pieces are for a slightly wider version of the drawer. - Assembly Steps: - Glue Part A "Outer frame" to Part B "Innter Frame" - Glue Part D "Handle" to front of Part C "Drawer" - **Do NOT** glue the drawer to the frame (Diagram coming soon) - Mounting Tips: - Since this wasn't a super large drawer, I was able to get away with using Gorilla Mounting Tape Strips (Squares) - cut in half, press and hold firmly against bottom of desk for it to stick - Strips used: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09G8HR699?ie=UTF8&linkCode=sl1&tag=indisposabl0c-20&linkId=2b6b818202660d3d81b7bc98d846ca55&language=en_US&ref_=as_li_ss_tl - You can try to use screws for mounting, but you risk splitting the frame unless you have really strong layer adhesion and are using a stronger material such as ABS.
