MINI ITX Modular NAS - Motherboard Module
Description
NAS enclosures are expensive. Really expensive for what they are. I decided to make one that is modular starting with the motherboard module. It fits a Mini ITX Motherboard and a single slot PCIe card so you can expand your SATA ports. The module is really a standalone Mini ITX PC case designed to work with a PicoPSU power supply. Anyone needing an ATX power supply can find the module below. The case has two configurations. It has expandable covers and closed covers so you can use it standalone. Expandable covers are made so the case can be expanded up or down. New modules clip in via the side clips. HDD modules are coming. Still printing them to test out. There will be a 2.5 HDD Module and a 3.5 HDD module. All parts have been printed. All print well and connect together well. Still waiting for some parts to finish the case and show it off.
