Barista Design Coffee Knockbox 4000 for Coffee Grounds of Portafilters

Description

Knockboxes of portafilter machines are freaking expensive and mostly in a boring round or square design. After a while of online search I got intrigued by [this part](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2963870) and decided to design a similar one from scratch. I added the supports for a commonly available 30mm HDPE rod ([p.e. from Amazon](https://www.amazon.de/-/en/gp/product/B079576J8N/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s03?ie=UTF8&psc=1)), which is hard enough to withstand the knocking while at the same time being fleible enough to not damage your portafilter. For fun I also simulated the knocking force in a simle model. Even if you manage to hit the box with the portafilter like Mike Tyson in his prime, it will only bend but not beak... isn't that cool? I also added small snaps on the bottom side where you can fit 2mm x 2mm rubber feet to greatly reduce the noise. [(Mine were purchased here)](https://www.amazon.de/RND-Gummif%C3%BC%C3%9Fe-Kautschuk-quadratisch-selbstklebend-schwarz/dp/B07Y9QBPN2) The Inventor design is fully available, where you can customize the text on the front or the size of the foot snaps. Also you can use the provided sawing adapter, that can be quickly printed in less than 30 minutes, to achieve the perfect angle for sawing or grinding the plastic rod. However, you should be careful to use the correct distance between both ends of the rod as I messed it up greatly in my first build. I printed this part in Prusament PETG clear. You can infer all of the parameters from the 3mf file for PrusaSlicer. But as it only has overhangs at the very bottom I don't see any difficulties for a print. Have fun building!
