Geeetech A20T 5015 fan duct

Geeetech A20T 5015 fan duct

Description

The 40mm fan on my Geeetech A20T broke, and it is hard to find this 40mm fan in 24 volts. The 5015 50mm fan is far easier to get in 24 volts, costs far less, pushes more air, and is far more robust. This duct also reduced stringing by quite a lot. Features: Uses the stock screws on the A20T, the duct press fits onto the two lower studs for the old fan, and it spaced so the excess length of the stock screws is accommodated. It uses a simple zip tie to hold the fan to the duct. I suggest, due to the poor fitment of cheap 5015 fans, that you use some kind of adhesive along the outside edge of the mating surface to prevent air leakage. I used E6000 as it is very forgiving and easy to work with, and is removable. This is one of the few improved ducts that work without risking melting on the A20T's massive hot end. Print in PLA at slow speed, as it's a precision tolerance on the mounting holes.
