D.boe's Qidi X-Max Extruder Fan Upgrade (no extra parts needed!)

I must admit, I LOVE my Qidi X-Max... However, when I first got it and took it apart, there was a glaring design flaw that is also well documented on the web. NO AIR GETS TO THE LOWER HEATSINK (closest to heatblock) to prevent heat creep. So I did something about it, without having to buy additional fans, screws, etc. Instructions: 1- remove carriage lid 2- remove extruder from carriage (both fan ducts fit both extruders) 3- remove extruder fan, discard small white spacers. 4- replace spacers with either D.boe duct of your choosing. 5- Use a Dremel or other device to remove the top edge of the carriage plastic just under the extruder fan... this allow the device to work--- by redirecting some cooling to where you need it most!!! 6- reinstall fan on top of new duct using stock screws. 7- Enjoy happy printing with much less heat creep induced PETG clogs. I printed without support.... No issues. NylonX
