Engagement Ring Case with Lithophane Insert (Screws Required)

Description

Full model can be purchased and downloaded from my Cults3D page: https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/jewelry/engagement-ring-case-with-lithophane-insert-screws-required Made this beautiful engagement ring case for my fiancee last christmas, just in time for Christmas Eve proposal. Now, you can too! Case dimensions 36mm (H) x 55mm (L) x 55mm (W) when closed. Lid hinge is designed such that the lid can stay up-right to the casing body without generating too much friction. Click-snap feature along the tip edge of the lid. Sand it down as required, but I found mine one printed okay. You can mount a lithophane portrait with dimensions of 35mm x 35mm x 3mm thick, at the back of the lid, then supported by the 2 layers of Lithophane support inserts and 3x M3 counter sunk screws. I use this free lithophane maker here: (https://lithophanemaker.com/Framed%20Lithophane.html) The ring cushion will be a separate insert to the casing body. Best to be printed with TPU filament as it is elastic. DISCLAIMER: Avoid printing the ring cushion with hard material, otherwise it can potentially scratch your ring. Recommended ring dimensions for the current ring cushion design: Width of the band all the way around = 2.2mm Depth of band = 1.5mm Outside diameter = 19.5mm Height from top of diamond to outside base of shank = 24mm Following screws will be required to complete the assembly: 2 x Pan Head Screws M2.5 x 16mm long - for fixing the hinge 3 x Counter Sunk Screws M3 x 6mm long - for fixing the lithophane on lid. My case body and lid was printed using CCTREE Copper Filled PLA filament for elegant effect.
