Description
This is a drill block for drilling holes for cabinet hinges. The specific hinge i designed these for is Soft Close Cabinet Hardware Hinges - homdiy HDSCH114SNB 1-1/4in Face Frame Kitchen Cabinet Hinges, 4 Pack Hinges with Built-in Dampers. To use simply print, place on edge of board and clamp in place. then drill out all 3 holes deep enough to leave a mark. then remove block and if needed drill deeper to correct depth needed for hinge and plugs to fit. I suggest printing a test with uniform scaling turned off and z scaled to 2mm. it will print out a thin version of the block that you can compare to your hinge and drill bits to make sure everything works before printing. I printed it using thick walls so that I wouldn't have problems with the drill bits breaking through the wall. v6 is the first version that fit my hinge and so I wont be upload the earlier versions. v7 is a version I made but never printed. it has a back area for clamping and instead of pegs it has a full bar that should be stronger.
