Lc12b1 Rear Wing Mounts
Description
This is my UNBREAKABLE (please don’t break it) wing mount design that’s made with TPU for my lc12b1 but I’m guessing it will work for the EMB platforms too. Both arms are on this one file and both of the outside arms are face down on the bed to look better on the car. Designed to be very close to the exact same location as the stock mounts / wing location. To mount this I used six coarse threaded stainless screws, four for the wing and two for the shock tower holes, I have tapered head screws in the wing / in the photos but I also like the pan head screws too. In my case I had to enlarge with a drill the top two holes on the shock tower to get the screws to fit but I’m okay with that. The two bottom shock / trans holes I just ran a m2 fine threaded screw in for now and soon to be replaced with a coarse threaded ______ after I visit the hardware store, the trans plastic is pretty small so I’ll go with a smaller screw. This should have some flex for the bashers and good strength for the race track. Enjoy….
