BIQU H2 Adapter Parts for V1Engineering MPCNC V2
Description
PLEASE NOTE: this is an untested design as the printer is not yet built. I've test fitted the parts and they work on the extruder and the default X carriage that is part of the MP3DPv2 (as shown). Here are the parts I made to adapt the BIQU H2 Extruder to the V1 Engineering MP3DP V2 (not sure if it'll work on a V1, but will not work on the new V3). All the screws are either supplied with the H2, part of the MP3DPv2, or 4ea @ M3x6 (use the supplied M3x8s for the fan shroud, which is not mine, that can be found here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4757657) The BLTouch Sensor offsets: X= -[TBD] This will vary with the antivibration pad use/thickness. I printed this with NnjaFlex, but you can print it with ABS or other high temp material of your choice. I highly recommend using it as not only does it dampen the fan and BLTocuh, but it also provides an airgap between said mount and fan blades to dampen vortex hissing. Y=0 (yes, i made this easy for you... you're welcome... ok, you got me, it was for my benefit...) Z=-2 (but double check this. the tip is at the very bottom of the heat block when retracted) Corrections to be made: - The top bracket is offset from the X Carriage mount, but this may be insuffecent as its a tad snugger than I like. - The Zip Tie loop at the top of the top bracket is also really thin, this will be beefed up with the next revision as well. - The BLTouch mount prints a tad ugly due at the face between the mount the fan grille. this is due to excessive chamfering (ie: bad design). you can do support enforcers there or wait for the next iteration and use your printers' bridging abilities to its fullest potential.
