TS80/P Power Base
Description
This remix has three components - the TS80P holder, the Brasswire container with cable storage and the power base. I printed the soldering station by BulletDrop and then realized there's a difference in the barrel between the TS80 and TS80p. I didn't feel like reprinting the whole thing so I just modified his holder design to fit the TS80P and made it an add-on. You just need to cut off his holder and this one will slip down over the post. The brass wire container fits into the circle intended for flux. It also has cable storage that drops out the of the bottom. If you don't want to use that, just print the "cleaner_top_wheel file" and glue it in upside down. The dome on top is the only piece that requires supports. The power base slips on over BulletDrop's base and has tabs that pretty much hold it in place, but also has holes for 2mm screws (or CA glue). I used a USB QC3.0 board connected to a 5mm barrel connector for power. Both can be found on Amazon: QC3.0 Board: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08ZXKMJ7X/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 5mm Connector: https://www.amazon.com/DIYhz-5-5mmx2-5mm-Female-Mounting-Connector/dp/B08CVF3QXL/ref=sr_1_20?crid=5GYR9QXHTMT&keywords=5mm+panel+mount+connector&qid=1644009477&sprefix=5mm+panel+mount+connector%2Caps%2C48&sr=8-20 There is a retaining wall in the power base so you can fill it with epoxy or whatever. (takes about 80-90ml; 100ml is too much... ask me how I know)
