Mini FPV Drone
Description
This project started out when a stock drone I had broke, but all the electronic components were fine. I found a model for a drone here on thingiverse, printed it, and loved it. Eventually the old electronics broke, but I was enjoying it too much to stop. I ended up buying new parts and this time, I designed the drone all on my own, 100% my own design, and printed it. After a year of small changes, new parts, and shedding weight, this is a super fast, lightweight, little drone. For less than a hundred dollars, I absolutely love how well it works. If you print this: You will have four prints. The "DroneBody" is the X-frame that goes on the bottom. On top of that is the "BottomStack", then the "TopStack", then if you want, the "CameraMount". Alternatively, you can skip the camera and print just the Honeycomb TopMount. The honeycomb texture is lightweight but necessary to protect the electronic flight controller. This design is made to work with 7x20mm motors and a Betaflight F4 flight controller. You can probably find these lying around if you are that kind of person (you know who you are), but they are also super cheap at a local hardware store or online.
