Brackets to mount Tronxy bed level sensor probe and move Y endstop trigger point when mounting NF Sunrise or other deeper hotend
Description
Here are two brackets that I needed when fitting a Mellow NF Sunrise extruder to my Tronxy X5sa. The extruder itself requires no bracket (it fastens to the original two threaded mounts for the standard hotend), but you need somewhere to fasten the Tronxy probe (bed level sensor) - or other similar inductive/capacitive sensor. You will need 2x plain M3 nuts to go in the probe bracket, and 2x M3x10mm bolts to secure the bracket (and endstop microswitch). Mounting the probe uses its original M3 bolts. Also, because the depth of the NF sunrise causes the loss of about 20mm of Y-axis printable area, I chose to move my print surface forward about 15mm so that it overhangs the heated bed. This doesn't seem to have caused any problems (yeah; I know the front edge might not be properly heated, but the difference is minimal). The purpose of the second bracket is to push the Y-endstop microswitch. It simply attaches under the gantry by using an existing M4 threaded hole. I did experiment with offsetting the X microswitch as well - to avoid clamps at the edge of the glass bed - but it only caused a headache - was a bad idea and I scrapped it. Hence, the first bracket is called 'NoOffset'. The first bracket also has holes to mount the level sensor further down if you are using a Volcano heatblock. Thanks for checking out my 'things' :)
