Bic Spinner spinning top, spins for a very, very, very long time!
Description
Inspired by a recent popular spinner, I decided to make something that really spins, and spins and spins. Just for fun :) Realizing a plastic tip wasn't going to meet the challenge I found the most common household item that has a precision true axle of rotation and a nice rounded hard tip. A little practice and you will be absolutely amazed at how fast and long this thing spins, like a gyroscope without a frame. Enjoy. Note, the little ball can be frozen with a dab of hairspray or CA glue if ink marks are a concern. It didn't leave any on the glass surface I was using so mine doesn't have anything freezing the ball in place.
