Lego ISS Simple Ceiling mount

Description

This is a ceiling mount for the LEGO ISS space station. A nice eye-catcher, but not in the display case - the whole thing looks much better on wire ropes or fishing line under the ceiling. The mounts I found so far didn't appeal to me personally, so I designed my own. It should be white, flat and round, have space for 3 ropes and be stable enough to hold the weight of the ISS. Of course without visible screws. The result is this design. Once with 3 prepared holes (2mm) for ropes or as a smooth dome for the people who want to drill their own holes. I had thought that a fishing line could be passed through 2 holes so that the model could be aligned in the inclined position and that one line should be fixed to hold the whole thing up. I have designed the dome to be stable enough so that you can also install a luster clamp or other stopper for the line inside. When you mount the base plate you only need to screw on the cover dome and the whole thing holds. Printed in PLA with 20% infill, printing time approx. 4 hours incl. supports. The removal of the supports is nerve-racking, so that the tracks in the dome can be cleared and the whole thing can be unscrewed easily. My government is thrilled. Happy Wife - Happy Life Have fun - - - - Dieses ist eine Deckenhalterung die die LEGO ISS Raumstation. Ein netter Hingucker, aber eben nicht in der Vitrine - das ganze macht sich an Drahtseilen oder Angelschnur unter der Decke erheblich besser. Die Halterungen die ich bisher gefunden habe haben mir persönlich nicht zugesagt also habe ich was eigenes entworfen. Es sollte Weiss, flach und Rund sein, Platz für 3 Seile bieten und stabil genug um das Gewicht der ISS zu halten. Natürlich ohne sichtbare Schrauben. Daraus geworden ist dieser Entwurf. Einmal mit 3 vorbereiteten Bohrlöchern (2mm) für Seile oder als glatte Kuppel für die Leute die sich ihre eigenen Löcher bohren wollen. Angedacht hatte ich es das man eine Angelschnur durch 2 Löcher führt und das man so das Modell nachträglich entsprechend in der Schräglage ausrichten kann und eine Schnur sollte Fix sein um das ganze oben zu halten. Ich habe die Kuppel stabil genug entworfen so das man im innern auch eine Lüsterklemme oder einen anderen Stopper für die Schnur einbauen kann. Wenn man die Grundplatte montiert brauch man nur noch die Abdeckkuppel aufdrehen und schon hält das ganze. Gedruckt in PLA mit 20% Infill, Druckzeit ca 4 Stunden inkl Supports. Das entfernen der Supports ist nervenaufreibend damit man die laufspuren in der Kuppel entsprechend frei kriegt und sich das ganze auch leicht aufdrehen lässt. Meine Regierung ist begeistert.
