Zero play CNC/3D-Printer pen holder/adapter v3

Zero play CNC/3D-Printer pen holder/adapter v3

Description

This is V3 of https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5250168 The pen is held in the brass tube/barrel by say glue (hot or cold), or by printing an inner sleeve to fit your desired drawing pen. Personally I use 3 solder blobs on the inside of the tube at the top and at the bottom to allow the pen to slide in for a pressure fit. The drawing pen I use is the Sharpie ultra-fine tip permanent marker. The brass tube is 47mm long, 15mm outer dia, 13mm or 14mm inner dia (0.5mm wall thickness is best for least weight). To adjust the holder you adjust the two M3 screws that hold the roller bracket to the main body, just tight enough to remove all play but loose enough to allow the pen and barrel to drop under it's own weight. Printed using 15% infill. 2 off M3 by 16mm 5 off M3 by 12mm 5 off MR63ZZ, 3mm inner, 6mm outer, 2.5mm wide bearings 1 off Sharpie Ultra-Fine Tip (I use black) 1 off M3 tap for threading the holes. No M3 nuts are used, the plastic is threaded using an M3 tap after printing.
