Coffee Bean Screening Tool (New Version With Round Hole Mesh)
Description
Stackable coffee bean screening round mesh sizing from 15 to 19 (meaning 15/64 inches to 19/64 inches). I created rectangular mesh before but I noticed these 1/64'' increments round hole mesh is commonly used world wide, so I created 3D-printable version of those screens to follow the international de facto standard method. I noticed round hole mesh work better than rectangular mesh. Much less cloggings. Printing should be straightforward. No support necessary (obviously). But I do recommend printing with brim. Also, I recommend wiping off the print bed with IPA before each print because there are a bunch of circles and the first few layers may not stick well if the print bed is not clean. I also recommend lightly sand the inside of the holes with burrs to make it more accurate. But make sure vacuum clean the screen after you sand those. You don't want any plastic parts contaminating to your roaster together with the beans. I hope you will enjoy better tasting coffee using those screens!
