XL5 Nazgul V5 Crossfire Immortal T bottom mount
Description
This is a remix of two files: Original CRSF bottom mount: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2914370 Original front bumper: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4748898 I wanted to have the Crossfire Immortal T Antenna to be bottom mounted in the front area of my Iflight XL5 V5.1 (Nazgul 5) frame. I found a nice bottom mount with a 30x30mm screw spacing which I then fused to the original front bumper file and removed any excess part as well as adjusting screw pattern to align well. This was my first time doing such a redesign. Sorry if the stl is rather ugly and crude. But it works :) The antenna cable can then be fed through one of the holes in the front section of the frame. The mount is barely big enough to allow a ziptie-heatshrink protector for the antenna arms to fit as well. There's no way to omit crazy overhangs (as far as I see at least). I printed the pictured version with regular support but tree structure may be easier to remove from the TPU. As you may see, the surface finish is rather ugly. If you print this mount and figure out good settings/orientations, please let me know in the comments! I printed with the visible bottom side downwards, 100% infill, 0.16mm layer heigth on an Artillery Genius Pro with eSun TPU. Additionally, I used the arm bumpers I remixed (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5254633) to keep the antenna arms straight and a bit more protected. These are mounted with double-sided tape.
