DJI Action 2 Mount 20 25 and 30 + Tbs ND
Description
This post contains an ImpulseRC Apex mount for the DJI Action 2 camera. It is robust, with thick walls of 3.7mm around and behind the camera. The front is gently designed to absorb some of the front impacts with an even thicker indent shaped wall. Therefor, I propose not to print 100% infill, but max 60, this will enhance the cushioning of the mount, without compromising stiffness to much, because of the thickness. It accepts TBS ND Filters, measured on ND8 + 16 The design has been made such that the ND filters are fitted in a way that light polution from the sides is minimized, therefore the rounding of the camera lens is the only part of the ND you'll see. !! IMPORTANT NOTE !! If something is not correct, please do not hesitate reaching out to me, so I can figure what is wrong, can be improved, etc... That is only possible with community feedback. Always open for grounded criticism, remarks, ... Included FILES: - DJI_Action_2_Mount_20 - DJI_Action_2_Mount_25 - DJI_Action_2_Mount_30 Both STL and 3MF files. I like 3MF more as it seems to be more performant and get slightly better results with that format together with CURA. I am using a CR10S Pro V2, still with bowden extruder and 0.4mm nozzle. Printsettings: TPU - SainSmart black print-temperature: 220°C / 428°F Bed-temperature: 60°C / 140°F + Some magigoo on the default bed (or use painterstape). Speed: all the same on 20 mm/s Retraction, off or 5 mm at 45mm/s (clean nozzle before print in that case). Cooling temp: off for initial layers, 50% for the others. Supports: 45 - 65 will work. Print direction: I propose to put the Left side down (looking from the front of the mount), to minimize supports.
