Airsoft Filament Reel Bearings for MPSMv2
Description
I wanted to make my filament reels turn more smoothly on the stock MPSMv2 filament rack. While I like the idea of PiP bearings, I don't trust the printer to generate them cleanly enough, so I went with 6mm airsoft BBs as bearings. These are sized specifically to fit the Monoprice Premium PLA reels, which have an inner diameter of 55mm, and to slide snugly on the stock filament rack. The spacer part fits the 65mm reel width and keeps the bearings from popping off of the reel. The lock slides in between the spacer and the rack to keep the spacer from vibrating off of the bearings, though in practice this is probably not necessary. Note: requires 46 BBs total, 23 per bearing.
