25amp LIPO Discharge Box
Description
This box uses four, 1ohm 100 watt resistors, two 12VDC 60x60x15mm fans, 1/4 inch thick cork board material to insulate the PLA from the resistors they get very hot over 220F, 4 M3 button head screws 8mm long, 8 M3 button head screws long enough to go through the resistor, cork and into the PLA 5mm. I use this box in parallel with my charger to discharge at 25amps, to learn how to do this please do a search on YouTube for iCharger X6 discharge and you will find a couple good videos on how to do this. This works great for me, it may not work great for you so make and use this at your own risk, Lipo batteries can be unpredictable, always use a Lipo safe bag when discharging and charging.
