Linear Actuator Motor-Brace

Linear Actuator Motor-Brace

Description

Holds down linear actuator to flat surface. Needed this tool for a robot I am building and it is suprisingly sturdy. A few tips to ensure good quality: 1. Nozzle: 210C, Bed: 70C (PLA) 2. Painter's tape 3. Print on side that is completely flat 4. Distortion may have occured during conversion from ipt to stl. When I put in cura slicer I make sure to upscale to 1000% with .4 mm line width. Total Print Time = 2.5 hrs INSTALL: -When bracing object to flat surface make sure to use metal washers in between screw and plastic. This will ensure when upward force is applied on the object, that the screws don't rip through the plastic. If you look at the image below you will see that long metal braces were used to disperse the force over a larger surface area and therefore reduce this risk. -I also used a couple of wraps of electrical tape to ensure a snug fit of the linear actuator inside the brace.
