Anet A8 & A8 Plus (Stock) Cooling Fan Duct

Anet A8 & A8 Plus (Stock) Cooling Fan Duct

Description

This is a pair of factory style part cooling fan ducts, one for the Anet A8, and the other for the Anet A8 Plus FDM 3D printers. Each model is labeled and marked appropriately. Each has a 3 degree offset so that it will fit the fan properly and remain parallel to the build plate. Each has a little more meat at the throat so that they are less likely to fall out from vibrations during a print. I'm uploading these models here together as these printers share more than they differ, and because I tend to make any changes to my A8, to my A8 Plus as well. This was remixed from Nitemare's "Anet A8 Plus stock fan duct". I liked Nitemare's model because it was so close to the original A8 Plus fan duct design. I remixed it because it fit too loosely in the radial fan, and because all my radial fans have that same 3 degree offset from being parallel to the build plate. I used the throat from my "Factory Part Cooling Fan Duct For Anet A8" because it was the perfect fit for my radial fans. These printers must ship with various sized outputs on the radial fans because more than 1/2 of the duct designs I've tested on Thingiverse have fit too loosely in my fans. As for the 3 degree offset, the radial fans on both of my Anet printers had this offset, as well as the two fans I purchased separately for my Geeetech I3 Pro C, so I believe it's a common configuration.
