Rugged LoRa T beam communicator case

Rugged LoRa T beam communicator case

Description

I wanted a simpler to make rugged case for my tbeam LoRa based communicator network , than was available. I also wanted added support for the antenna , with this design it is clamped into the case with the gasket ,witch should help in the case of rough use cases . The buttons are also slightly recessed so that it is unlikely to accidentally press one of them. the buttons are also protected behind the tpu membrane . there is also a loop on one end that fits a small carbine or cord . the case is 3 pieces top , gasket and bottom. the gasket needs to be out of tpu , and helps keep dust and water out of the case and off of the electronics . hardware 4pc m2 x 5-6mm screws ( the ones that come with 9g servos) 4pc m3 x 20mm machine screws ( cap screws whatever you want stainless is preferred) OR 4 pc m3x 24mm machine screws 4 pc m3 nuts ( this is not required but can be done for exta piece of mind ) I printed mine from petg for the body and tpu for the gasket, the gasket NEEDS to be flexible. ( pictures show prototype stl has been fixed to keep the usb cover closed ) There is a shoulder around the window for display, this is intended to glue in some sort of clear plastic to keep dust and water out. ( I used a thick clear cover from a toy display box just cut out little rectangles and super glued them in ) there should be enough room to use something thicker even glass, if thin enough but i wouldn't necessarily recommend it. the part I used for my referance is as followed https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B09G6GPG9S/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 metastatic : https://meshtastic.org/ https://turboprint3d.ca/projects
