Side Firing LED Lights - Adventurer 4
Description
I printed mine in PLA but If you want to print ABS, I'd recommend using PETG or ABS. You'll need a soldering iron and some terminals to connect all the wiring. The circuit is fairly simple: +24V -> Switch -> LED -> GND In more detail: 1. Connect 2 wires or a mutlicore wire with at least 2 strands to the +24V and Ground on the power supply. Use 18AWG is recommended 2. Route the wiring around the PCB and up the hole right below the LCD and then fish it out through the printers camera hole. Remove the camera hole plate because you can't put this back on unless you drill a hole in it 3. Put the +24V in T1 (terminal 1 of the terminal block, it is arbitrary which terminal block you use) and GND in T2. Make sure you have a 4 terminals on your terminal block on the side closest to the camera and 2 terminals on your terminal block on the other side of the printer. 4. From the other side of T1, route a wire to the switch (doesn't matter which side) 5. On the other switch terminal, route a wire from there to T3 of the terminal block. 6. On the other side of T3, you will need two wires, one going to each of the +24V pads on the LED strips (left and right side). These wires are to be soldered directly to the LED strip 7.
