Dual 1/64 Drag Strip Display

Description

###Download All button seems to lead "Thing Files" these days, I have included a RAR file that includes all files. Thingiverse has banned zip files, if you don't have WinRAR to open them, files are available to download individually. Description ==================== A display base for 1/64 scale cars, the display is designed to look like a drag strip. It is based on multiple drag strips photos I found. It is not based on a specific track. The cars I used in the first few photos are Auto World Dodge Challenger SRT Demon and Hotwheels Whatta Drag. There are also many photos of it working well with various cars. If you wish to have a display base tweaked to fit to a specific car, please send me these dimension for the display base holes: https://imgur.com/5T6mb2L The display base is separated into 3 parts for easy printing and colour swap. The parts are: 1) Base (BaseV1.5.STL) 2) Base back wall (Divider wall with flood light poles): - BoxBackPlainDivider.STL - BoxBackPlainDividerPlain.STL - BoxBackPlainDividerNarrow.STL 3) Flat Base: - FlatBase.STL - FlatBase(DualHW).STL - FlatBase(No Holes).STL 4) Extras: - LightTree.STL - WhiteLine.STL - Strip.STL - DviderV2.STL - FloodLights.STL - *Wheelie.STL *Optional Base Back Wall and Flat Base Variant ==================== There are many variants of Base back wall, the one printed in my pictures are "BoxBackPlainDivider.STL" and "FlatBase.STL" The difference for each base are: ###BoxBackPlainDivider: As seen in my pictures, it has "SPEEDWAY" written in a spread out way. ###BoxBackPlainDividerPlain: Divider wall without any lettering on it. ###BoxBackPlainDividerNarrow: Divider wall with "SPEEDWAY" less spread out on the wall. ###FlatBase: As seen in the pictures, it has holes that is scaled for Auto World Dodge Challenger Demon and Hotwheels Whatta Drag. ###FlatBase(DualHW): A flat base with 8 holes at each side, it should fit most Hotwheels cars. ###FlatBase(No Holes): A flat base with no holes on it. Print Settings ==================== Nozzle size = 0.4 mm (minimum, smaller better) Layer height = 0.2 mm Filament change layer for colours on "BoxBackPlainDivider" & "BoxBackPlainDividerNarrow": 1) Start (Colour of the wall and poles) 2) Layer 24 ("SPEEDWAY" lettering colour, mine is in black) Filament change layer for colours on "Strip": 1) Start (Outerline of the strip, mine is in yellow) 2) Layer 4 (Overall piece colour, mine is in red) Assembly ==================== The car is tied by wires through the hole in the base Flat base is recommended to use some glue or double sided tape to secure it on to the base. Floodlight piece will need some glue or double sided tape to stick on to the poles. Divider, light tree, white line and strip will require some glue or double sided tape to secure it as well. Colours ==================== Colours on the light tree and the flood lights will need to be painted by yourself. Others ==================== I did not test the tthe other variants of the base back wall and flate base but it should works fine. Feel free to send me any feedback on how to improve the design. Suggestion on display base designs are welcomed too.
