Nurse Symbol (Caduceus) Cribbage Pegs, Helper Pegs and Boxes
Description
I was test printing things for my wife's Xmas gift, when I printed the nurse pendant. The image would not get used for what I wanted, but it was a good test print. In addition I was looking at a variety of cribbage pegs, as we had lost a few pegs in moving the main board around. In looking at buying options and 3d prints they just did not have the "wow" factor I was looking for (Dead Pool was the closest, but not quite). Then I tried scaling the pendant, and well, it just did not work either... until I realized *it did not need scaling*, her pegs should way out shine mine! I tested on the local cribbage board, and the pendant just worked. Printed 3 more of them (any filament, any infill, just dial in that flat surface, I did the black ones in PETG). Tested them and they worked! Stocking stuffers done. And all was great, except when I used them on our main board (I made it a prior year with a laser cutter), where the holes were bigger and less "consistent." The pendants flopped around, which *I* though was great, her, not so much. Well rather than give up, or fix the print, I decided to print helper pegs, which were pegs with a rectangular hole in them. After a few test prints, (PLA, print the hole side down), and success! Well until I discovered one of the pendants broke at the peg when battered on the counter. Knowing me I will try to fix that, rather than reprint. Just to finish the project out I printed 2 boxes (same PLA, little infill, more layers) using Mark's Openscad hinged box library (https://github.com/sbambach/MarksEnclosureHelper), to make a box for cards and the mint tin for the lesser, lame pegs.
