TRONXY X5S - CARRIAGE CORE XY (OLD STUFF) Middle & Upper Plates / Corner pulley blocks. The structure improves the torsional rigidity This design, dated september 2018, has worked well on my old (and quite converted) X5S up to now. Have in mind that this was uploaded with the solely intention to suggest an idea on how to increase rigidity, in response to a comment. - - - IMPORTANT NOTE BEFORE YOU PRINT!! The carriage plates of this design are a bit wider than the standard ones, so take measures before printing. Width: 73 mm Distance between holes: 19 mm !!! Se if there's enough space left, so the extruder-carriage uses the entire bed !!! !!! You probably will need to change your endstops !!! - - - Today I would introduce some changes in the design. The pulley-block should be a set of flat printed parts. You should consider getting 4 aluminium plates (or CNC them yourself) for best rigidity. (As far as I know Funssor still offers them - see last picture) Enjoy. O.
