Pick the one that fits your needs. </li><li>Version 3 has been printed in PLA. Versions 1 and 2 have been printed in resin. </li><li>The slider is printed in TPU. The diamond-shaped slider provides less friction, but prevents the sticky feeling, when it starts moving. </li></ul><h2><u><b>Assembly:</u></h2></b><ol><li> Remove both cams, the spacers and the extension spring. → <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PZ6_0N7uRKc">Virpil's video on Youtube</a>. </li><li>If required, remove the bolt that held the cam on the left and the ball bearings. </li><li>Set the spring apart for reassembly. </li><li>Assemble the 3D-printed parts and the spring. </li><li>Install the assembly with the spring inside the base in place of the vendor's cams. </li></ul></li></ol><h2><u><b>Known Issues and Planned Solutions:</h2></u></b><ul> <li>The rubber shroud of the base acts like a spring. I replaced it with a fabric shroud. </li><li>Silicon gel? </li><li>Detent marks can be added to the 3rd version <a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5218075">with this device</a>.
