Cyborg Soldier Version 3
Description
Hello. So... here's version 3 of my Cyborg Soldier. How have you been? In all honesty I really wanted to present a more "advanced" model for my version 3 than what I have here. Really other than the torso the majority of the figure's engineering is unchanged. I have tinkered here and there with tolerances and some minor errors from previous versions, created a couple new helmets and weapons and even updated some of the version 1 designs to be compatible with version 2 and 3, but I wasn't able to have the same jump in quality like I had from version 1 to version 2 like I wanted. Who knew transferring to a new college would eat up so much free time? Anyways, the new torso design adds ab crunch articulation to the figure. I have also provided a couple choices for chest armor. I did provide a lower torso design in version 2 that was meant to be compatible with 30 Minute Sisters parts, but I have since removed that part since I realized my measurements were incorrect and that using the piece would stress the 30 Minute Sisters parts to the point of breaking. With this new version I have fixed this issue as demonstrated in the provided images. The Cyborg Soldier Version 2 was designed with a focus on simplicity, durability, and ease of printing. Joints are achieved through a system of 3mm pins that give just enough friction while also easily removed with pliers (for maximum strength, print these so that the long side of the pin is parallel to the build plate). 3 millimeter ports on the arms, legs, and back allow for cross compatibility with most other model kit accessories. I hope you enjoy. Please send feedback as I may create improved versions of the figure in the future. Depending on your printer and plastic, some light sanding and/or tightening of parts may be required. Tightening may be done via thin layers of super glue or multi-surface floor polish.
