Small Adjustable Wall Mount with Ball Joint
Description
Adjustable in several ways, this is a small wall-mount apparatus for light objects. It's based on the very nice Adjustable Ball Mount by krisstewart. In my case it holds a lightweight acrylic mirror at about a 90 degree angle from a wood shelf. I attached one end to the back of the mirror with double-stick tape, and screwed in the other end into the shelf. Print one of each of my files, and also print two items from krisstewart at 50%: [Spare_Part_-_CAP_-_Mounting_System_v11](https://cdn.thingiverse.com/assets/95/91/9e/42/42/Spare_Part_-_CAP_-_Mounting_System_v11.stl) and [Spare_Part_-_BASE_-_Mounting_System_v11](https://cdn.thingiverse.com/assets/78/cd/90/00/c7/Spare_Part_-_BASE_-_Mounting_System_v11.stl). You can adjust the angle at one end by unscrewing the arm from the gears to loosen the space between the two gears, then rotate and retighten. You can adjust the other end by loosening the cap around the ball. The weakest part is the "hood" (which krisstewart calls "TIE DOWN") that fits over the ball and inside the cap, so be gentle with that. I made this in Tinkercad, and you can edit it there, free and online, to your heart's content: https://www.tinkercad.com/things/aLwCQ2ezp2t
